ACS Correspondence School

1)  Founding Purpose

AMI Center has established the Correspondence School for the internationals residing in South Korea who desire to learn God¡¯s Word in depth but cannot study at the Main Campus, Ansan Campus, or Doongdaemoon Campus because of the distance, that is, because their workplaces and ministry bases are geographically far from ACS¡¯s campuses, so they have difficulty in physically attending the classes. For such internationals the Correspondence School was established to help them participate in the theological degree programs.

2)  Curriculum & Methodology

The Correspondence School classes will be offered through the Internet in Korean, English, Burmese, Nepali, Cambodian, Lao and Bengali in place of physical attendance. They connect to the AMI College & Seminary website (www.amicenter.net) and listen to the lectures according to each student¡¯s individual class schedule. They earn credits by preparing extra assignments and submitting exam answers to the School. Students of the Correspondence School are also required to physically attend the intensive classes offered during the New Year¡¯s Day and Chuseok period.

3)  Degree Programs

Students who complete the part-time programs through the Correspondence School will be transferred to the Main Campus in Suji, and earn additional credits to receive respective degrees.

4)  Programs Period

Programs offered through the Correspondence School do not have specific period for completion. Students will receive credits as much as they study.

5)  Admission Criteria

Applicants who want to get admission to the Correspondence School may hold a secular job. They may labor in their workplace during the weekdays, and in the weekends, having the same condition as the full-time students at the Main Campus, they are required to serve the practical ministries for their fellow countrymen.
